"Set up and verify an Amazon SES email domain for this organization"
Where it appears: sending meeting invitations to guests, or workspace (member) invitations.
What it means: your organization has no verified sending domain, so BusinessDash can't send email as you. Emails still go out — they fall back to the BusinessDash platform sender — but they won't come from your own domain until one is verified.
How to send from your own domain:
- Open Email Builder → email settings at /dashboard/email-builder.
- Register your sending domain (for example
yourcompany.com). - Add the DKIM DNS records the panel gives you at your DNS host.
- Use Check status — once DNS propagates, the domain flips to
verified and every invitation, notification, and campaign sends from
notifications@yourcompany.com(customizable).
Tips:
- If your DNS is wildcard-managed (e.g. Vercel Domains) and it warns that a
DKIM record would override wildcard entries, verify a dedicated subdomain
such as
mail.yourcompany.cominstead — its DKIM records live under_domainkey.mail.…, safely away from your wildcard routes. - If registration reports the identity already exists (common when the domain was verified from another environment sharing the same AWS account), BusinessDash adopts the existing identity automatically and shows its live verification status.
