Running Your Team
Business Dash treats the people side of your organization the way it treats the customer side: as data with a paper trail. The conversations that shouldn't be public stay private, an accusation and a conclusion are kept apart, departures run on a checklist, and pay is computed from the same records the rest of the platform already holds.
This section is written for the Organization persona — owners, managers, and whoever runs HR. It covers four areas that share one idea: the record should still make sense a year later.
Escalations & Cases
When a customer conversation gets hard, a staffer raises it and it becomes a case — a private discussion the customer never sees. The people who need to be in the room are added when the case opens, and the visibility rule is enforced in the database, not in a screen someone can misconfigure.
See Escalations & Cases for how a case opens, who it includes, and why a non-participant can't reach it.
Infractions & Offboarding
A concern about an employee starts as an allegation and only becomes a finding once it's been looked into. The employee's response rides alongside it, a legal hold is there when a matter has to be preserved, and offboarding runs on a checklist you define per role so nothing important depends on someone remembering it.
See Infractions & Offboarding for the allegation-to-finding flow and how a departure closes out cleanly.
Compensation & Payroll
Hours, pay agreements, commission on closed sales, and the payroll run that pays it all are computed off the same data your CRM holds. A rep's commission traces back to a deal you can open, pools can stay confidential, and each payroll run is a recorded set of steps you prepare, approve, and mark paid.
See Compensation & Payroll for how the numbers add up from time clock to paid run.
How these fit together
The four areas reference each other on purpose. An infraction can feed a for-cause offboarding. A resolved escalation can leave a case on the record. A closed sale that pays commission is the same event that promotes a canvassing door into the pipeline. The point of keeping them as real records — rather than notes in someone's inbox — is that the connections hold up when you need them to.
